Over the past few weeks I have noticed something odd about Twitter.
Despite launching Twitter video to the masses weeks ago, Twitter does not display videos uploaded natively (via official apps) upon the Media stream.
A Tale Of Two Tweets
Here is a screen shot of 2 tweets displaying videos within my stream.
Here is a second screen shot of my Media stream which only displays the tweeted Vine (which is ironically reshared from someone else’s Vine stream).
I am not sure what would inspire Twitter to mask their own native videos, but hopefully they are not doing this to protect Vine (as it would mean that Vine is almost dead).
